UzErasmus day of the MechaUz project

On October 17, 2020, the participants of the “MechaUz: Modernization of Mechatronics and Robotics for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology” project held an online meeting dedicated to #ErasmusDays. The meeting was organized by the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering (AndMI), which were among the project participants, and was attended by representatives from the Fergana Polytechnic Institute (FPI), Karshi Institute of Engineering and Economics (KIEE), Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU), Turin Polytechnic University (TTPU), Erasmus Headquarters in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.

At the meeting, the project coordinator for TUIT U.R.Khamdamov spoke and informed the participants about the main purpose of the meeting and the issues on the agenda. At the start of the meeting, K.Tashev, Vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of TUIT, spoke about the work carried out at the University within the project and the planned tasks. During the meeting, project participants spoke on the following topics and exchanged information:

• CBHE projects: as an example of MechaUz (speaker: J. Rakhmatillaev, Vice-Rector for IT, Andijan Machine-Building Institute)

• The role of the MechaUz project in capacity building and strengthening the material and technical base of HEI (speaker: U.Khamdavov, DSc, Associate professor, Department of software and hardware of control systems in Telecommunication, TUIT named after Mukhammad al-Khwarizmi)

• International cooperation through Erasmus + projects (speaker: Z.Jurayev, Head of the International Relations Department, Andijan Machine-Building Institute)
