Twelfth online meeting

The meeting of the partners of the international project "MechaUZ: Modernization of Mechatronics and Robotics for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology" of the European Union Erasmus + on the organization of interpartner visits and the development of visit plans was held online on April 13 this year through the platform ZOOM.

The online meeting was organized by representatives of the Tashkent University of Information Technology (Uzbekistan), and participated representatives from the International Hellenic University (Greece), the South-East European Research Centre (Greece), the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania), the Liepāja University (Latvia), the Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (Portugal), the Andijan Machine-Building Institute (Uzbekistan), the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), the Fergana Polytechnic Institute (Uzbekistan), the Karshi Engineering-Economic Institute (Uzbekistan), the Tashkent State Technical University (Uzbekistan), the Ministry of Higher Education System (Uzbekistan).

The meeting was organized for the following purposes:
• Finalise Dates for Tashkent Partners’ Meeting
• Curricula Progress & be updated on the curriculum development 
• Finalise Dates for next face2face partners’ meeting in Tashkent and Train the trainers’ workshops in Vilnius (Lithuania) and Viana De Castello (Portugal) 
• Make an initial discussion on the preparation of material for the TTT workshops
• Dissemination Activities (next steps – Actions)

The meeting was opened by the representative of the The South-East European Research Centre (Greece) Anastasios Ntabizas, who informed about the new changes and updates within the project. Also, based on mutual discussions and proposals, the partners agreed on the organization of the interpartner visit to Tashkent from 16 to 20 of May this year, visit to Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania) from May 30 to June 3, and visit to Vienna-du-Castelo Polytechnic Institute (Portugal) from 18 to 22 July, and also visa issues. The General Coordinator of the project gave special tasks to the representatives of these countries to organize the upcoming visit of Uzbek representatives to Europe, to conduct it effectively, and to prepare the necessary materials for the training of trainers.

During the meeting, the representative of the Andijan Machine-Building Institute (Uzbekistan) Javlonbek Rakhmatillaev presented changes in the development of curricula, and analytical data on curricula prepared by partner universities in Uzbekistan. It was noted that the curriculum prepared by the Tashkent University of Information Technologies fully meets the requirements.

At the end of the meeting, the project representative Nodirbek Ismailov gave his recommendations on the dissemination of events, seminars, meetings and various discussions within the project, as well as their regular placement on the project-related websites.
