The final meeting of the MechaUz project

On October 2-6 this year, the final meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE MechaUz project was held in the cities of Andijan and Fergana. This time, Andijan machine-building institute  and Fergana Polytechnic Institute from Uzbekistan hosted project events.

According to the agenda, the first day of the event was held at the Andijan machine-building institute. All project participants were introduced to the innovative laboratory, training center and project office established within the framework of the project at the institute. In addition, a practical visit was made to other scientific and educational laboratories of the institute.

The innovative laboratory implemented within the framework of the project currently serves more than 30 students at the same time. All the participants liked the fact that the training center was established in the institute and started its activity in traditional and online form.

On the second day of the project, an international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the results of the project "Mechatronics and robotics: problems and development prospects" was held. About 50 professors and teachers from prestigious higher education institutions of our country and Europe and representatives of production participated in the conference.

In the second half of the day, the participants of the project demonstrated the works and results of each higher education institution within the framework of the project. They held a discussion about the achieved achievements and issues awaiting solution and discussed a number of urgent tasks.

On the third day of the event, a practical visit was organized to the UzAutoMotors car factory, which is a project partner. 

The fourth and fifth days of the project were organized at the Fargona Polytechnic Institute, and a practical visit was made to the institute's scientific and practical laboratories, spin-off centers and technological park.
